A SYMBOL OF LIFE

 This beautiful piece was made by local artisans on the island of Borneo in Indonesia where the art of pottery making has been a tradition since antiquity, practiced for beauty, trade and daily life.Jugs like these were used mainly to serve water or locally produced potions, and were painted with natural pigments from the island. Terracotta means baked earth and has been used by mankind for thousands of years, across all the worlds continents, for its versatility and strength.

It comes complete with it's story printed out for you inside a beautiful envelope. Being artisan crafted each urn is slightly different.
