A SYMBOL OF WISDOM, STRENGTH AND PROSPERITY

This gorgeous figure comes from the island of Java in Indonesia, crafted in bronze by master artisans sometimes during the 1940’s.

Ganesha, the beloved elephant-headed deity, is one of the most revered gods in Hinduism and beyond. Known as the remover of obstacles and the lord of beginnings,
Ganesha embodies wisdom, prosperity, and success. His origins trace back over 2,000 years, with early depictions appearing during the Gupta period in India (circa 4th–6th century CE). Each aspect of Ganesha's form carries profound symbolism: his large ears signify attentive listening and his trunk adaptability. As the son of Shiva and Parvati, Ganesha bridges the divine and the earthly, making him a symbol of protection and guidance for new ventures, spiritual growth, and life’s challenges.

The statue comes complete on a black metal stand and its story printed out for you inside a beautiful envelope. The handmade metal support carry its own authenticity, with subtle imperfections and the potential for a natural patina to emerge over time.

Dimensions with the stand 25 x 11 x 12
