These Naga (dragon in Indonesian) bracelets are handmade in brass and are traditional pieces of jewelry from Borneo in Indonesia, worn for their believed strong magical powers.
The dragon biting its tail is an ancient symbol called Ouroboros. It represents eternity and the infinite cycle of life, death and rebirth - leading up to immortality. It also represents what magically existed before any beginning and what will always last. The Ouroboros have been important in religious and mythological symbolism and rites since ancient times.
The bracelets come complete with their black metal supports and their story printed out for you inside a beautiful envelope. Being handmade each piece is slightly different with natural imperfections. The handmade metal supports carry their own authenticity, with subtle imperfections and the potential for a natural patina to emerge over time.
