Indra is the embodiment of leadership, bravery, and divine protection in Balinese Hinduism. He’s invoked during ceremonies to seek his blessings for prosperity, success, and protection from negative forces. Indras ability to control the weather is also crucial for agricultural societies, ensuring fertility and prosperity through rainfall. He is praised as the highest God in the Rigveda, one of the oldest sacred texts of Hinduism.
