Ammonite Stone Statue from Java
A SYMBOL OF LEADERSHIP AND EXCELLENCE
This gorgeous statue depict an Ammonite and was hand carved in stone as per ancient techniques on the island of Java.
Ammonites were one of the longest living creatures in the world, roaming the oceans for more than 350 million years. Their name is inspired by the spiral shape of their shells, resembling tightly coiled horns or snakes.
They were widely hunted, but thrived on fear to progress and develop through time, becoming some of the most iconic beings on earth. In medieval Europe, Ammonites were thought to be petrified coiled snakes, and were called snakestones or serpentstones, thought to have healing powers and being a protectant against snake bites.
Ammonites are believed to reinforce our intuition and teach us how to listen to our inner voice of reason, providing us with guidance and leadership throughout our lives.
