For generations, the Siger has stood as one of the most recognizable symbols of Lampung's cultural identity. Worn during important ceremonial occasions, it represents lineage, dignity, prosperity, and the enduring connection between families and their ancestral heritage.

This vintage Siger Pepadun crown was crafted in brass during the mid-20th century and reflects one of the most important traditions of the Lampung people of southern Sumatra. Unlike many ceremonial crowns assembled from separate elements, the Siger Pepadun is formed from a single sheet of brass, carefully shaped into a series of distinctive peaks that define its unmistakable silhouette.

The nine peaks are traditionally associated with the Sembilan Jurai, the nine ancestral clans that formed the foundation of Pepadun society. Their sweeping horn-like shape also pays tribute to the water buffalo, a longstanding symbol of prosperity, strength, and status throughout Sumatra.

Across the surface, intricate floral and arabesque motifs have been embossed into the brass using traditional metalworking techniques. Decorative medallions and layered ornamentation enhance the crown's ceremonial presence, while the warm golden tones evoke the splendor traditionally associated with royal regalia.

Over the decades, the brass has developed a natural patina that enriches its character and highlights the craftsmanship behind every detail. More than a ceremonial headdress, this crown stands as a remarkable expression of Lampung's cultural heritage and artistic tradition.
