This statue of a little boy is hand-carved in stone and comes from Timor in Indonesia, where many believe in animist religions. The human face is an invitation to their ancestral spirits to go inside the statue to protect and guide the owner and the home.

It comes complete with a blackened metal stand and it's story printed out for you inside a beautiful envelope. Being hand made each statue is slightly different.
