This beautiful set includes a graceful Dewi Tara statue, a set of 3 peacock feathers and a set of 2 Ghanta temple bells, all complete with their blackened metal stands.

The Dewi Tara statue was handcrafted in mineral cast stone with ancient techniques by master artisans in Mojokerto, Java. The art of stone carving has been practiced and perfected on the island since the 8th - 9th century, producing some of the most spectacular statues in the world.

Dewi Tara is known as the adored goddess of Wisdom and Compassion, adored in both Buddhism and Hinduism. She is often connected with the aspects of motherhood and the forces of nature, playing a protective and nurturing role.
Tara's influence across cultures shows the fusion of divine femininity in body and spirit.  Tara derives from a Sanskrit word meaning "star'" and symbolizes the light of the soul.

The dramatic set of feathers comes from Indonesia and are considered a powerful and mythical symbol in many different cultures of the world. The peacock feather is said to absorb negative energies, protect the wearer from any bad happenings and bringing good luck. The peacock is also believed to be the manifestation of the celestial phoenix bird, and its feathers are often recommended in Feng Shui as a love cure. 

The bells called Ghanta were made in brass by local artisans on the island of Bali in Indonesia, following ancient techniques. Ghantas like these are ritual bells used in Hindu ceremonies in Bali. Many temples have one hanging at the entrance, where devotees ring the bell before entering. The bell is also rung by the priest during ceremonies, while burning incense before the deity and when offering food or flowers. It is said that by ringing the bell, the devotee announces his or her arrival to the gods. The sound of the bell is considered to bring good luck and welcome divinity while casting away evil. It is also believed to make the mind more receptive, helping to improve focus and concentration.

In certain yoga practices, the sound of the bell is believed to energize the Chakras and help balance the energy within the body.

The suite comes complete on the black metal stands and the stories printed out for you inside a beautiful envelope. Being artisan crafted, every piece is an original and slightly different, showcasing the materials natural beauty with organic imperfections. The handmade metal supports carry their own authenticity, with subtle imperfections, irregularities and the potential for a natural patina to emerge over time.
